The Rotary Club of Sun Peaks Spring Cleaning Food Drive

It’s that time of the year, Spring Time! Time to pack up winter and get ready for summer. It’s time to Spring Clean!

We challenge you to add your kitchen and pantry cupboards to your annual spring clean and help a good cause. Those who donate will be entered in a draw for a $100.00 pre-paid visa card.

The Salvation Army is providing us the food barrels to collect non-perishable food items which will be at the following locations:

March 29. 2 - 4pm Sootheby’s
March 30 11 - 1pm Staff Accomodations
March 31 3 – 5pm Coast Sundance Hotel Lobby

Art Summit

The Rotary Club of Sun Peaks is proud to present the Second Annual Sun Peaks Art Summit. A premiere artist show and sale held outdoors throughout our village stroll on July 27, 2019 in beautiful Sun Peaks. This is also the Saturday of the Serena Ryder concert presented as a free concert by Sun Peaks Resort.

Applications are JURIED and based on the originality, quality and craftsmanship of the product you intend to sell.

Early bird Application Deadline is May 31, 2019 and Final Application Deadline is July 1, 2019

Mother's Day Brunch and Trivia Fun

Looking for a fabulous and fun way to honour your mom on Mother’s Day? You found it! The Rotary Club of Sun Peaks in partnership with Sotheby’s International Realty is thrilled to host the Mother’s Day Brunch and Trivia this year at Cahilty Creek Kitchen & Taphouse.

This event will include a delectable gourmet buffet, an entertaining trivia game with fantastic prizes, door prizes, photography, speakers, and more – all included in your ticket price!

We are happy to welcome speaker, Tracy Munson from Insight Natural Healing

Wine Club Fundraiser

Wine, beer, and Indian cuisine...oh my!

The wine club of Sun Peaks partnered with Rotary to throw a fundraising dinner on November 21^st at the beautiful home of Ruth and Michael Fane. The goal was to raise funds to help send two high school students to the Rotary Adventures in Health program in Prince George next May. The four chefs who prepared the Indian feast - Ruth Fane, Danielle Renaud, Susan McRae and David Fedor - had all gone to cooking class with the famous chef Vikram Vij last winter at the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel. They also generously donated the cost of the food. The giving didn’t stop there; Michael Fane donated the wine and Glen Burns donated 2 kegs of his home made beer. The wine and coffee club folks were asked to donate what they would normally spend at a Tuesday night gathering. The night far exceeded the goal of $450…$900 was raised! $500 was given to the Rotary club and $400 has been saved for a future charity event. Because of the night’s success – not to mention the blast everyone had – future events are already being planned.
